Public Safety Diver
PADI Public Safety Diver Course (3 days) - familiarizes divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques and hazards of public safety diving. It establishes a solid public safety diving foundation and includes basic rescue skills (both surface and underwater), knot tying, arc search techniques, victim recovery, tender responsibilities, communications and rescue techniques for a distressed public safety diver.
Prerequisites:
• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
• 18 years old
• PADI Rescue Diver certification (or
qualifying certification) is an exit requirement
Duration: Three days with a maximum of three dives per day.
